signed, dated, and numbered 26/100 Al-Azzawi 1982 titled Homage to Baghdad No1-10 to lower edge of each print; executed in 1982, ten prints on paper: 8 in colors, 2 in black and white; all housed in dark coffee pictorial cloth covered clam shell portfolio with yellow stamped design and titles to cover; this is number 26 from an edition of 100 published in London by Serif Graphics, 1982 and printed at The Malvern Press also in London.

    Footnote:
    Dia Al-Azzawi (b. 1939) is an Iraqi painter and sculptor, who lives and works in London. He is one of the pioneers of modern Arab art and is noted for incorporating Arabic script into his paintings. Active in the arts community, he founded the Iraqi art group known as New Vision and has been an inspiration to a generation of young, calligraffiti artists.
