  • Provenance:
    William H. Crocker's Queen Anne style mansion (1888) was designed by William Curlett and Walter Cuthbertson, located on Nob Hill, directly next door to the Gilded Age palace of his father, Charles Crocker. The W.H. Crocker house was destroyed in the San Francisco earthquake and subsequent fire of 1906 as was his father's. Crocker later donated both properties to the local Episcopal Diocese. The Diocese built Grace Cathedral on the site between 1927-1964. W.H. Crocker moved his primary residence to Hillsborough, CA, in the 1910s.

  • Condition: Framed in Plexiglass 16.5 x 21.5 in. Heavy foxing throughout. Scattered scuffs, marks, and spots. Not examined of frame.
