Pellegrini was a caricaturist, a painter, a politician, and a lithographer though not necessarily in that order. Predominantly known for his 20 years of satiric caricature work at Vanity Fair magazine from 1869 to 1889, where he often used the pseudonym "Ape" and at times "Pelican". This white horse and top-hatted rider is signed lower left "Pelican".

  • Condition: Fine overall; not examined outside of frame. Framed dimensions 16 3/4 x 20 3/4in (42.5 x 52.5cm)
