The arched painted dial surmounted by a Classical woman with a torch, with Roman chapters centered by a seconds dial and arched calendar aperture inscribed Thos Cope. / Lane End., the twin train movement striking on a bell.

  • Dimensions: height 91 1/2in (233cm); width 23 1/2in (60cm); depth 10in (25.5cm)
  • Condition: Structurally sound. Case refinished. General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing and wear. Some scattered losses and areas of restoration to dial. Some areas of shrinkage separation. Toning to mounts. With some lifting to top platform of bonnet and losses to timber. With weights and pendulum. Working condition unknown and not guaranteed.
