The upper section with a pair of doors enclosing a pair of shelves over an outset base with slant front reversing to a writing surface and enclosing a configuration of drawers and pigeon holes flanking a central door between two faux book spine drawers, above a case fitted with drawers, top edge stamped H MAWER & STEPHENSON / LONDON.

  • height 79in (201cm); width 42in (107cm); depth 21 3/4in (55cm)
  • Condition:
  • In two sections. Top and base associated. Structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing and wear. Notable scuffs and scrapes to top of slant front section. Hardware replaced. Plugged holes to drawer fronts. Baize surface replaced - faded, worn and lifting. With uneven fading to timber, most notable to right side. Red staining to top of lower section. Facing lacking to left side loper as visible in catalogue photos. Wear to feet.
