Condition: All property is sold AS-IS. Andrew Jones Auctions, its
agents, employees and the consignor, make no warranty
or guarantee of title, merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose, or other warranty or representation
regarding the description, authenticity, attribution, period,
culture, source, origin, provenance, age, size or condition.

Condition reports are offered as a courtesy to our clients
and are a statement of opinion and should not be treated
as a statement of fact. Andrew Jones Auctions is not
responsible for any error or omission. The absence of
a condition report on an item does not imply the lot is
in perfect condition or free from typical wear or effects
commensurate with age. Buyers are responsible for
determining to their own satisfaction the condition of any
lot prior to bidding.

Special Notice to Prospective Jewelry Buyers:
Prospective jewelry bidders should exercise caution. Diamonds
and gemstones commonly undergo various type of treatments,
including but not limited to: heat treatment, irradiation, oiling,
bleaching and/or dyeing, resin and/or polymer impregnation,
diffusion, fracture filling, laser drilling, high temperature
high pressure (a.k.a. HTHP) and coating with wax or other
compounds. These represent some of the treatments which
are common in the industry and are generally considered
acceptable. While Andrew Jones Auctions endeavors to
disclose the most noteworthy of these, many treatments are not
listed in the catalog as many gemstones are regularly treated
with one or more of these treatment or enhancements.
Therefore we would like to remind all prospective buyers that
unless otherwise noted in the catalog, the buyer should assume
that one or more of these treatments is present in the described
gem material and may or may not be permanent or detectable.
When Andrew Jones Auctions has obtained additional
information from a reputable, recognized laboratory or external
source, we will commonly include the findings in our catalog
description as additional information to prospective buyers.
Various laboratories exist for these types of reports and findings
may or may not be in agreeance with each other. Therefore,
Andrew Jones Auctions makes no guarantees as to the
accuracy or consistency of these reports and/or findings, but
rather we provide this information to our clients in order to assist
them in making determinations for bidding purposes.

Special Notice to Prospective Watch and Timepiece
Buyers:
Prospective watch and timepiece bidders should exercise
caution. While Andrew Jones Auctions offers a short description
of the piece, the catalog notes and condition reports are not
intended to be a complete analysis of the condition of any
watch or timepiece. All watches and timepieces offered at
auction are often of age and have received much wear during
their lifetime. All watches and timepieces are to be sold in 'as
is' condition and we encourage bidders to evaluate the piece in
person prior to bidding.

CITES:
Some materials such as coral, shell, horn and bone (to name
a few) are subject to import/export regulations in compliance
with CITES. Items containing a material listed under CITES
protection may require additional licenses or be banned
completely from import or export to and from the US and other
countries.

BURMA:
In accordance with the current US restrictions, import into the
US of materials which originated from Burma during the tenure
of this restriction (most notably jade and ruby) is not permitted.
In either of these above mentioned cases concerning CITES,
Burmese or any restricted material, it is the responsibility of
the buyer to obtain any necessary licenses or documentation
that is required to ship any materials that fall under these legal
restrictions. Failure to obtain permission or licenses to import or
export items purchased at auction does not justify cancellation
of sale or delay in payment settlement.
